Among the photographs, I took in Delhi, was this shot of a girl in a blue headscarf. She was nice enough (and patient enough) to let me take a series of half a dozen shots of her as she sat in the forecourt (if that’s the right word) of a mosque in Delhi.
You’ll notice that her fingers are darkened. This is due to the decorative use of henna which is commonly used in India to draw intricate patterns on the hands.
