Early morning at Varanasi, India, in fact shortly before sunrise, and a man walks along the bank of the River Ganges. Handheld in low light, even with the lens at its widest aperture, a high ISO setting was essential. Coming from a film photography background, it’s still amazing to me that an ISO value of 6400 is not only available but very useable.
